Diamond – Float (10 pcs)

Preston Diamond – strong pole float for larger bait

The Preston Diamond is a classic pole float for fishing at both short and longer ranges with substantial hook bait, such as sweetcorn, pellets or luncheon meat. The diamond-shaped body provides a stable presentation, while the highly visible hollow tip offers sufficient buoyancy for larger bait.

Thanks to the Dura-Side side eye and central line-through design, the float is particularly robust when fishing with heavier lines and hard-fighting fish. The fibreglass stem provides stability and durability. The Diamond remains a reliable choice in deeper water too.

Key features

• Classic diamond-shaped Rohacell float body
• Hollow tip with a diameter of 2 mm
• Durable fibreglass stem
• Dura-Side side eye and central line-through design for extra strength
• Suitable for larger bait and powerful fish
• Suitable for short and longer pole fishing swims

Rigging and use

Choose the buoyancy according to the water depth, current and the amount of shot required to present the bait steadily. For a fully pre-rigged solution, you can also use the Preston Diamond Pole Rigs. Secure the stem with suitable float silicone so the float stays firmly in place on the line.

Frequently asked questions

What bait is the Preston Diamond suitable for?
The float has been developed for firm, relatively large bait such as sweetcorn, pellets and luncheon meat.

Can I use this float in deeper water?
Yes. A higher-buoyancy version is especially suitable when fishing deeper or when more shot is needed to keep the rig stable.

Why does the float have both a Dura-Side eye and a central line-through design?
This construction distributes the load more effectively and reduces the risk of damage when fishing with stronger lines and larger fish.
