Carp Shallow – Shallow Water Float (10 pcs)

Preston Carp Shallow – strong float for shallow carp fishing

The Preston Carp Shallow is a versatile pole float for fishing in shallow water. Use it against islands and the far bank, under your own bank or shallow in open water. The highly visible 2 mm hollow tip is designed for larger baits such as pellets, luncheon meat and sweetcorn.

The central line-through and reinforced Dura-Side side eye make the float suitable for heavier lines and hard-fighting fish. A fibreglass stem provides stability, while the Rohacell body remains light and durable. This gives you a reliable all-rounder for active carp fishing on commercial fisheries.

Frequently asked questions about the Preston Carp Shallow

Where does this float perform best?

The Carp Shallow is designed for shallow swims: against an island or far bank, along your own margin and shallow in open water. Its construction remains stable when you are targeting carp.

Which baits suit the 2 mm tip?

The visible, buoyant tip is suitable for relatively large baits, including pellets, luncheon meat and sweetcorn. This keeps the presentation easy to read when the bait requires a little more buoyancy.

Why is the Carp Shallow suitable for bigger fish?

The central line-through, strong Dura-Side side eye and fibreglass stem combine to create a robust rig for heavier lines and larger fish.
