Description
The Matrix X2 Commercial F1 Barbless is a lightweight, barbless spade-end hook for fishing for F1 carp and silverfish. The wide-gape shape and curved point are designed for secure hooking, while the lighter wire supports a natural presentation of small hook baits.
Matrix developed the X2 as a lighter version of the X1 model. This PTFE-coated hook is therefore suitable for pellets, maggots and sweetcorn, and can be used all year round when finesse is important, without immediately reaching for a heavier carp model.

Frequently asked questions
When should I choose the Matrix X2 instead of the X1?
Choose the X2 when you want a lighter hook for a more subtle bait presentation. The X1 is the stronger option, while the X2 is better suited to finesse fishing, smaller baits and cautiously feeding F1s or silverfish.
Which hook baits can I use with the X2?
The hook is suitable for pellets, maggots and sweetcorn. Its light wire keeps small hook baits naturally presented, which is especially helpful when fish are feeding cautiously.
Is this hook only intended for colder months?
No. Matrix developed the X2 for F1 carp and silverfish throughout the year. Choose it primarily based on the desired delicate presentation and the demands of the fishing, not solely on the season.
