Super Roach 1kg

Van Den Eynde Super Roach 1kg: light and active roach groundbait

Van Den Eynde Super Roach is a light groundbait developed specifically for roach fishing. The mix contains many active and partly floating feed particles. This creates movement in and above the baited area after feeding, which is ideal for roach that do not feed exclusively tight to the bottom.

Super Roach can be used as a base groundbait and is easy to adapt to the water and fish activity. Moisten the groundbait gradually if you want to retain a light, active action. For more weight or binding, you can combine it with clay and other finer groundbaits.

Official base recipe for roach

Van Den Eynde recommends a base roach mix of 1 kg Super Roach with 1 kg G5 Special, 1 kg Damp Clay and one bag of Roach Special. The clay adds weight to the mix and helps bring the feed particles to the desired depth in a more controlled way, while the additive enhances the roach profile.

• Light groundbait for roach and other silverfish
• Lots of active feed particles
• Floating particles create activity around the baited area
• Suitable as a base for an adapted roach mix
• Can be weighted and bound with damp clay
• Contents: 1 kg

Frequently asked questions about Van Den Eynde Super Roach

Why does Super Roach contain floating feed particles?

Roach often feed slightly above the bottom. The light, floating particles create movement through different water layers and can help gather active fish around the baited area.

How do I retain the active action of the groundbait?

Add water in small amounts and mix thoroughly each time. Stop once the mix has enough binding for your chosen feeding method. Too much water or compressing it very firmly makes a light mix more compact and reduces its action.

When should I add damp clay?

Use clay when the groundbait needs to reach the bottom faster, remain in the chosen spot for longer, or when you want to offer less food value and more volume. Adjust the amount according to depth, flow and fish activity.
