Hi-Pro Carp Method Mix 2kg

Van Den Eynde Hi-Pro Carp Method Mix 2kg is a coarse, protein-rich and highly nutritious groundbait mix for Method fishing for carp and other large fish. The mix binds firmly enough to stay compact on a Method feeder, but breaks down slightly faster on the bottom than many classic Method mixes.

The groundbait is ready-mixed and particularly suitable for situations where there are plenty of carp and a richer feeding area can be built up. Hi-Pro Carp Method Mix can also be mixed in a lower proportion with other groundbait to give float-fishing groundbait extra structure, binding and nutritional value.

Key features

• Coarse, binding Method mix
• Rich in protein and with high nutritional value

Use and combination

Add water in small stages, mix thoroughly and allow the groundbait to rest in between. Before fishing, check whether the mix stays firmly enough on the feeder during the cast and breaks down at the desired rate on the bottom. In difficult conditions, you can combine the mix with a proportion of fishmeal or brown breadcrumb according to Van Den Eynde. For an extra boost aimed at larger fish, the manufacturer also recommends Van Den Eynde BS20.

Frequently asked questions

What conditions is this Method mix intended for?

The rich composition comes into its own especially when plenty of carp or other large fish are present and the fish are actively feeding. For cautious fishing, you can reduce the amount of groundbait or combine the mix with a lighter groundbait.

How do I check whether the mix has been properly moistened?

Press a portion into the Method feeder and test it in the margin. The groundbait should withstand the cast, but release readily from the feeder again on the bottom.

Can I also use Hi-Pro Carp Method Mix with a float?

Yes. A proportion of this mix can be blended with other groundbait to make the groundbait coarser, more binding and more nutritious for float fishing for larger coarse fish.
