TKS Twin Core Hollow Elastic 6m

MAP TKS Twin Core Hollow Elastic 6m – supple hollow elastic with plenty of stretch

The MAP TKS Twin Core Hollow Elastic combines a dual-core construction with the supple playing characteristics of hollow pole elastic. The transparent inner core helps the elastic retract faster than standard solid elastic, while the coloured outer layer provides plenty of stretch, smooth performance and high durability.

With six metres per pack, MAP states that you can elasticate two top kits over their full length or prepare up to three short F1 kits. Choose the appropriate strength using the variant selector, based on the species, the size of fish expected and the way you want to fish. If you use a puller kit, this elastic is a practical match for the MAP Side Roller Puller.

Frequently asked questions

How many top kits can I elasticate with one pack?
According to MAP, the six-metre length is sufficient for two top kits elasticated over their full length, or up to three short F1 kits. The actual number depends on the length of your kits and the setup you choose.

What is the advantage of the Twin Core construction?
The dual-core construction combines plenty of stretch with fast retraction. This allows the elastic to stretch in a controlled way during a powerful run, then retract more quickly as the tension reduces.

How do I choose the right elastic strength?
Match the strength to the average fish size, obstacles at the venue, your line and hook strength, and the top kit used. When in doubt, do not automatically choose the heaviest version: a well-balanced setup generally offers more control and fewer lost fish.
