The Guru SMWG Bayonet Ready Rigs are the perfect leader option for hair-rigging hook baits such as wafters, boilies, and pop-ups. The SMWG rig features a Guru bayonet at the end of the hair rig. This is designed to be pushed into the bait of your choice. You will also notice a small piece of 0.3 mm micro-silicone on the hook shank and the hair rig, which is there to keep the bait in place and ensure the rig works perfectly.

These Guru SMWG Bayonet Ready Rigs work exceptionally well when fishing with the Hybrid/Method feeder for carp and F1s using wafter hookbaits. Thanks to the loop at the end of the bayonet, semi-floating wafters can sit upright off the bottom and function as intended.

This version features the extremely popular SMWG hook, which has a PTFE coating, resulting in a super-sharp point with a longer lifespan.

The leaders are available in 4” and 15” lengths, covering a wide range of different fishing situations and bait options. The 4” Ready Rigs come pre-tied on our reliable rig boards. The 15” Ready Rigs come pre-tied on our user-friendly leader spools, which fit perfectly into the Guru Rig Boxes, improving organization and efficiency.

In sizes 10, 12, and 14, we have improved the line diameter options to offer even more choice in these larger sizes (see size chart below for options and diameters). All our Ready Rigs are tied on our proven N-Gauge line. They have proven to be a favorite for many years among pleasure, coarse, and match anglers.
