Super MWG Bait Band Ready Barbless Rigs 4" & 15"

Guru Super MWG Bait Band Ready Rigs

The Guru Super MWG Bait Band Ready Rigs are ready-made, barbless hooklengths for commercial fisheries. The Micro Bait Band on the hair makes it easy to present hard pellets, wafters, pop-ups and other bandable hookbaits neatly. This lets you change bait quickly without having to tie a new hooklength each time.

The strong Super MWG eyed hook has a durable PTFE coating and combines a sharp point with sufficient strength for carp and F1s. The hooklengths are tied with the proven Guru N-Gauge line. A 0.3 mm piece of microsilicone keeps the hair close to the hook shank, ensuring the hookbait stays correctly positioned behind the hook.

Frequently asked questions

What bait can I attach with the Micro Bait Band?

The band is primarily intended for hard pellets, wafters and small pop-ups. It can also be used to present other firm hookbaits that stay securely in the band.

When should I use a short or longer hooklength?

A short 10 cm hooklength is ideal for Method, Hybrid and pellet feeder fishing, where the bait needs to lie close to the groundbait area. The longer 38 cm version is suitable for pellet waggler fishing and traditional feeder rigs, where the bait can move more freely.

What is the function of the piece of microsilicone on the hook?

The silicone guides the hair along the hook shank and helps keep the hookbait in a consistent position. This allows the Super MWG hook to turn and hook efficiently when a fish takes the bait.
