SFPB Super Fine Pole Special Micro Barb

Guru SFPB Super Fine Pole Special Micro Barb

The Guru SFPB Super Fine Pole Special is a very fine spade-end hook for quickly catching small silverfish when pole fishing. The fine wire provides a light, delicate bait presentation, while the black nickel finish offers sufficient durability for intensive fishing sessions and unexpected bonus fish on balanced tackle.

The long shank makes it easy to bait with small baits and quickly unhook caught fish. The long, slightly inturned point stays sharp, while the micro barb helps keep live or delicate bait neatly in place. This makes the pattern particularly suitable for roach and other silverfish on canals and ponds.

Frequently asked questions

What type of fishing is the Guru SFPB designed for?

This hook excels when fishing for numbers of small silverfish with a pole. Think roach and other silverfish on canals, ponds and calm natural waters.

Why does this hook have a long shank?

The long shank provides more grip when baiting with small baits and speeds up unhooking. This is especially practical when catching lots of fish in a short time.

Can this fine hook handle a bonus fish?

The SFPB is surprisingly durable for its fine wire, but it remains a finesse hook. Therefore, use a suitable fine hooklength and smooth, correctly adjusted Elastic to limit peak pressure on the hook.
