Roach Slim – Float (10 pieces) 💰

Guru Roach Slim – sensitive slim float for roach and silver bream

The Guru Roach Slim is designed for refined bait presentation on natural waters. The elongated, slim balsa body creates very little resistance, allowing roach, silver bream and other cautiously feeding silverfish to take the bait naturally while making subtle bites clearly visible.

Its shape allows you to lower the bait into the swim in a controlled manner, then lift and drop it again to trigger a bite. The steel lower stem gives the float stability and sensitivity, while the fine fibreglass tip enables precise bite detection. When striking, the slim float also comes cleanly and easily out of the water.

The body is finished with Guru's elastic Elastilex coating. This protects the balsa against wear and line damage during intensive fishing. Secure the lower stem with suitable float silicone for a stable setup.

Frequently asked questions about the Guru Roach Slim

When should I choose a slim float such as the Roach Slim?

This shape is ideal when fish are feeding cautiously and you want to present the hookbait with minimal resistance. The float is particularly suited to still or gently moving conditions where sensitivity is key.

Can I present the bait through the water column with this float?

Yes. The elongated body and steel lower stem allow you to lower the bait in a controlled way or repeatedly lift and reposition it.

Why is the body made from balsa?

High-quality balsa allows Guru to make a small, streamlined body that offers little resistance. Combined with the protective Elastilex coating, the float remains durable enough for regular use.
