Description
The Guru 15" QM1 Bayonet Barbless Rig is a ready-tied hooklength of approximately 38 cm for fishing for carp and F1s with wafters, boilies and pop-ups. The hair is fitted with a Guru Bayonet that you push directly into the hookbait, allowing you to change bait quickly without a separate bait stop.
The PTFE-coated QM1 hook has a short shank, strongly curved shape and a sharp, inward-curved offset point for secure hook holds. 0.3 mm micro silicone positions the hair along the hook shank. The hooklength is tied with proven N-Gauge and works perfectly with a Guru Hybrid Feeder In-line when you want to present a semi-buoyant wafter in a controlled manner.

How do I attach hookbait to the bayonet?
Hold the hookbait firmly and carefully twist the metal bayonet into the centre of the wafter, boilie or pop-up. Do not push too hard with fragile bait, as it may split.
Which hookbait works best with this hooklength?
The bayonet is designed for bait with enough structure to hold the screw, such as wafters, boilies and pop-ups. Very soft bait is better attached using a different hair system.
Why does the hair have a loop by the bayonet?
The loop gives a semi-buoyant wafter room to move and stand upright above the bottom. This keeps the presentation natural and allows the QM1 hook to turn freely during a bite.
