LWGF XS Micro Barb Eyed – Eyed Barbed Hook

The Guru LWGF XS Micro Barb Eyed is an extra-strong eyed hook with a micro barb for feeder, waggler and pole fishing on natural waters. It builds on the well-known Feeder Special model, but uses a thicker wire for situations where you are catching lots of fish or targeting larger bream, tench, chub and smaller carp.

The wide hook bend and inward-curved point provide reliable hooking and a secure hold. Thanks to the eye, this model is particularly suitable for hair rigs with pellets, wafters, sweetcorn, meat or worms. The black nickel finish gives the hook a discreet appearance and helps retain sharpness and durability.

Frequently asked questions

When should I choose the LWGF XS instead of the standard Feeder Special?
Choose the XS version when extra strength is more important, for example when heavy feeder fishing, fishing snaggy swims, catching at high speed or when there is a realistic chance of larger fish.

What is the eye on this hook for?
The eye makes the hook highly suitable for a knotless knot rig and other hair rigs. This allows you to present the bait separately from the hook while keeping the hook point clear for efficient hooking.

Which bait suits this hook pattern?
The wide bend and strong wire are suitable for a range of baits, including worms, sweetcorn and meat. For a hair rig, you can also use pellets and wafters, depending on the rig and target species.
