Front Reaper Rest – Front Rod Rest

The Guru Front Reaper Rest supports the front of your feeder or match rod and helps prevent the rod from being pulled from the rest during a powerful bite. Its deep shape provides multiple stable resting points for the blank, allowing you to adjust the rod position to suit the swim and desired line angle.

The soft rubber finish protects the rod and provides extra grip. Both ends are adjustable and can be positioned as safety arms around the blank. For a complete setup, combine this front rest with the Guru Reaper Specialist Rear Rest at the handle section.

Frequently asked questions

What are the adjustable side arms for?

You can set the side arms to keep the rod within the rest. This provides extra security during powerful or sideways bites, while still allowing you to pick up the rod quickly.

Can the fishing line move freely over this rest?

Yes. The rubber finish and open resting points are rod- and line-friendly. Position the blank so that the line cannot catch behind an adjusted side arm.
