Conti Disgorger

Guru Conti Disgorger – long disgorger for feeder hooklengths

The Guru Conti Disgorger is a longer disgorger specially developed for feeder fishing. The extra length helps with longer hooklengths and hooks that are set deeper in the mouth, a situation that can occur with bream, among other species.

The rounded head is designed to minimise damage during unhooking. The smoothly finished, robust plastic construction has a strong cross-shaped profile and sits comfortably in the hand. This allows you to guide the disgorger along the line to the hook with control.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the Guru Conti Disgorger longer?

The extra length makes it easier to reach a hook when fishing with longer feeder hooklengths or when the hook is set deeper in the mouth.

Which fish species is this disgorger suitable for?

Guru mainly recommends the Conti for feeder fishing and situations where species such as bream may be hooked deeper. The right choice still depends on the hook size and hook position.

What is the difference compared to the Guru QM1 Disgorger?

The Conti is the longer version for feeder fishing and longer hooklengths. The QM1 is shorter and intended by Guru for all-round use and more easily accessible hooks.

How do I use the Conti Disgorger?

Keep the line lightly tensioned, place it in the slot and calmly slide the disgorger down to the hook. Apply controlled pressure until the hook is released, and do not force it if the hook is not easily accessible.
