6" Super LWG Bait Band Ready Rigs

The Guru 6" Super LWG Bait Band Ready Rigs are ready-made barbless hooklengths for quick and consistent bait presentation. The short hooklength is particularly suitable for commercial pole fishing and combines a strong Super LWG eyed hook with a pre-mounted bait band on the hair.

Each hooklength is precisely tied from Guru N-Gauge nylon. The hook-to-line ratio is designed to provide a good balance between presentation and strength. The PTFE finish on the hook reduces glare and contributes to durability, while the bait band presents the hookbait beside the hook and keeps the hook point clear.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the bait positioned beside the hook on a bait band?

The bait band holds the bait on the hair, keeping the hook bend and hook point clear. This supports natural taking and direct hooking.

What type of fishing are these short hooklengths intended for?

They are primarily suitable for commercial pole fishing, where a compact, ready-to-use hooklength is required. The bait band makes them especially practical for quick bait changes.

Which hookbaits can I use with the bait band?

Hard pellets are the most obvious choice. Other firm hookbaits that stay securely in the band can also be used; match the size of the bait and band accordingly.
