Pro Commercial F1 Super Spade End Barbless

The Gamakatsu Pro Commercial F1 Super Spade End Barbless is a fine, barbless spade-end hook for cautiously feeding fish on commercial fisheries. The model is based on the well-known Gamakatsu 7010. Its straight needle point is slightly turned inwards and designed to find a secure hold quickly, even on tentative bites.

Thanks to the relatively thin A1 Hard Wire, bait presentation remains subtle. This makes the hook ideal for live bait and soft pellets. The PTFE coating supports fast penetration and helps keep the point sharp for longer. You can use the F1 Super for pole fishing as well as feeder fishing for silverfish, F1s and carp, especially when cold water makes fish feed more cautiously.

Frequently asked questions

When should I choose the F1 Super Spade End?

This hook is especially useful when fish are feeding cautiously and a fine, natural presentation is needed. This is often the case on heavily fished commercials and during colder periods.

What bait works well on this hook?

The thin wire makes this model particularly suitable for live bait and soft pellets. Choose the size of your hookbait in proportion to the hook and the species you are targeting.

Can I also use this hook for feeder fishing?

Yes. The F1 Super has been developed for both pole fishing and feeder fishing. Do adjust the hooklength and the rest of the rig to suit the chosen technique and conditions.

Which fish species is this hook pattern intended for?

You can use it for silverfish, F1s and carp. Its fine wire gauge makes it particularly suited to a subtle approach; in very demanding conditions, it is better to choose a stronger hook pattern.
