Description
Frenkies Dobbers Bakkie 1 – stable float with steel stem
The Frenkies Dobbers Bakkie 1 is designed for stable bait presentation close to the bottom. This model performs well for silverfish fishing and on commercial fisheries, especially with a compact bulk shotting pattern or a bulk with one or two dropper shots. The highly visible top antenna helps you keep track of even small bites in shade or changing light conditions.
The steel lower antenna quickly brings the float into position and provides extra stability in windy conditions or when fishing with more line above the float. The balanced relationship between the antenna, body, eye and stem supports a calm presentation without losing bite indication. Attach the line at the bottom using suitable float silicone for a neat and reliable setup.

Frequently asked questions about the Frenkies Dobbers Bakkie 1
What type of fishing is the Bakkie 1 intended for?
The Bakkie 1 is particularly suitable for a stable presentation on or just above the bottom when fishing for silverfish and carp on commercial fisheries.
Which shotting pattern suits this float?
A compact bulk is a logical choice. If you want the bait to sink more naturally, you can place one or two small dropper shots below the bulk.
What is the advantage of the steel lower antenna?
The steel stem helps the float stabilise quickly and makes it less sensitive to wind and extra line above the float.
