The Drennan AS3 Carp Pole Rig is a ready-made pole rig for F1s and carp on commercial fisheries. The classic body-down float shape keeps the rig stable in wind, surface movement or a light flow, and registers both tentative and positive bites. The design was developed together with five-time world champion Alan Scotthorne.

The 3-metre rig is hand-tied on 0.20 mm, 7 lb main line and finished with a 0.18 mm, 6 lb hooklength. The size 14 barbless Wide Gape Carp hook is suitable for baits such as maggots, casters, sweetcorn, soft pellets and small pieces of meat. Thanks to the interchangeable 1.8 mm Hi-Viz antenna, the float remains clearly visible even in changing light conditions.
