Record Silver Bream 2kg – Bream Groundbait

Van den Eynde Record Silver 2kg

Van den Eynde Record Silver is a heavy, highly binding bream groundbait for deep canals and rivers. The ready-to-use base mix is designed to sink quickly to the bottom and create a compact feeding area there, even when depth or current causes a lighter groundbait to disperse too quickly.

This groundbait performs particularly well in waters around six to seven metres deep, such as the Meuse, Rhine and Moselle. Preferably moisten the groundbait around three hours before fishing. This gives the ingredients enough time to absorb water and helps the mix sink evenly and reliably after feeding.

Key features

• Ready-to-use groundbait, designed for bream
• Heavy, binding composition
• For deep canals and rivers
• Suitable for water around six to seven metres deep
• Preferably moisten around three hours in advance
• Contents: 2 kg

Moistening and use

Add the water gradually and mix the groundbait thoroughly. Then leave the mix to rest so that the moisture can penetrate the coarser particles. Check the consistency before feeding and sieve the groundbait if necessary. For less demanding conditions, you can mix Record Silver with a lighter groundbait.

Proven successful formula

• 2 kg Record Silver
• 1 kg Van den Eynde Super Crack Bream
• 500 g Expanda Protein
• 250 g Van den Eynde Bream Caramel

Adjusting the mix to current and depth

On a pond or lightly flowing canal, you can adjust the composition with Moist Clay, Black Moist Clay or Light Clay. For fast-flowing canals and rivers, Terre de Rivière and Heavy Clay are functional additions.

Frequently asked questions

Why should I moisten Record Silver several hours in advance?
The resting time allows the groundbait ingredients to absorb sufficient water. As a result, the heavy mix sinks more evenly and its consistency changes less quickly during the fishing session.

When should I choose this groundbait over a lighter bream mix?
Choose Record Silver when fishing in deeper or flowing water and you want to keep a feeding area close to the bottom. In shallow, still water, a lighter mix may be more suitable.

Can I combine Record Silver with clay?
Yes. Choose the type of clay based on current, depth and the desired binding. Add clay gradually and check how the ball breaks down in the water before feeding.
