G5 Special combines well with other Van Den Eynde groundbaits, additives and clay. This makes it a practical base for anglers who want to control their own mix: lighter for still water, or weighted and more stable for deeper and flowing waters.

• 2 kg G5 Special
• 1 kg Record Goud
• 500 g Secret
• 250 g Roasted Hemp

For a pond or lightly flowing canal, add Moist Clay, Black Moist Clay or Light Clay as required. For a deep or fast-flowing canal and for rivers, choose Terre de Rivière or Terre de Fond.

Mixing the groundbait

First mix the dry ingredients thoroughly. Then moisten in several stages and allow the groundbait to rest in between, so that all particles absorb sufficient water. Only add clay once the groundbait has reached the desired moisture level. This gives you more control over binding and how the mix breaks down on the bottom.
