Van Den Eynde Skimmer Mix 1kg - Groundbait

The Van Den Eynde Skimmer Mix was developed for fishing in ponds or other types of still water; it is a lightly active bait that is medium coarse.

Van Den Eynde Skimmer Mix is suitable for both summer and winter fishing but will be somewhat more effective during the warmer periods. Its main scent is vanilla and it tastes slightly sweet. It attracts all types of fish, and depending on which product you add, you can emphasize your fishing approach.

For use in rivers, slightly moisten the bait and add 2 kg of VDE Moist Clay. This makes the bait heavier and allows it to break open easily on the bottom.

The most important advice we can give you when preparing your bait is to take your time moistening it. The ‘triple timing regime’ should be sufficient. It gives the bait enough time to absorb all liquids and reach the required consistency.

Instructions for use:

Add the contents of this bag to an equal amount of white breadcrumbs/white chapelure, add water until the desired moisture is reached, and mix well. Then add 2 to 3 handfuls of sifted light clay soil, optionally with live bait (maggots or larvae). Mix everything thoroughly and immediately throw it all at the desired spot.

All round:

• 1 kg Skimmer Mix + 0.5 kg Big Fish 1 kg + 100 grams bream caramel

Shallow water:

• 1 kg Skimmer Mix + 1 kg White Breadcrumbs/white chapelure + (2 to 3 handfuls of clay) + bream caramel
• 1 kg Skimmer Mix + 0.5 kg BEET (or chestnut) + 125 grams Bream Caramel

Deep water:

• 1 kg Skimmer Mix + 2 kg VDE Damp Clay + 125 grams Bream Caramel
• 1 kg Skimmer Mix + 0.5 kg Record Sweet + 125 grams Bream Caramel (+ VDE Clay)

Carp:

• 1 kg Skimmer Mix + 1 kg Expanda Caramel (or another type from this range)
• 1 kg Skimmer Mix + 1 kg Sweet Fishmeal F1
• 1 kg Skimmer Mix + 1 kg Expanda Gold/Crushed Pellet Mix

Crucian carp:

• 1 kg Skimmer Mix
