Sonubaits Band'Um Wafters are semi-buoyant dumbbell hookbaits that counterbalance the weight of the hook and bait band. They sink slowly with the rig and remain lightly mobile above the groundbait, making them easy for carp, bream, skimmers and F1s to pick up.

The cylindrical shape with enlarged ends holds a bait band neatly in the narrower centre. This keeps the wafter securely on the hair, with the hook hanging directly beneath the bait. This makes it particularly suitable for method feeder and pellet waggler fishing.

Use

Place the wafter in a bait band on the hair and test the complete rig in a tub of water. The correct combination sinks slowly under the weight of the hook and then remains lightly mobile. If necessary, change the hook weight or add a small shot to the hair to fine-tune the balance.
