The Matrix XTR Short Power Kit 2.0m is a short and powerful top kit for the XTR pole fishing range. At 2 metres long, weighing 34 grams and with an ESR rating up to size 18 elastic, this kit is designed for robust carp rigs, shallow fishing and situations where direct control is important.
The enlarged 4.6 mm internal PTFE bush allows thicker elastic to run smoothly through the tip. The integrated Revolve side puller helps you retrieve elastic in a controlled manner during the fight, while the reinforced carbon band provides additional support around heavily loaded areas.

Compatibility
This Short Power Kit was developed for the Matrix XTR range. It can be used, for example, with the Matrix XTR300 Ultra Power 13,0 m Package and the Matrix XTR400 Ultra Power Packages. Always check the fit before fitting the kit to an older or different pole model.
What type of fishing is it for?
The short construction provides less elastic length and therefore more direct control than a standard 2.5-metre power kit. This is especially useful for shallow fishing, fishing the margins and landing strong carp on commercial fisheries. The Glide finish reduces friction when shipping the pole back, while the depth markers help you set multiple rigs consistently at the same depth.
Frequently asked questions
Is this top kit supplied with elastic?
No. The PTFE bush and Revolve side puller are fitted, but the required elastic still needs to be installed.
What elastic size can I use?
Matrix specifies an ESR rating up to size 18. Always match the final elastic strength to the fish species, line strength and conditions.
Why are the two sections the same length?
The equal section lengths make it easier to store a rigged line neatly on the top kit and provide a practical transport length.
