Matrix XTR400 Ultra Power pole

The Matrix XTR400 Ultra Power has been developed for commercial carp fishing and combines high pulling power with a balanced feel at full length. The pole is designed for anglers who want to tackle large carp and high catch weights with control without unnecessarily compromising handling.

High-quality Japanese carbon and X-Graphene resin increase strength and reliability. Woven carbon protects the male joints, while MST layer technology, a Glide Tape finish and SLG joints contribute to smooth shipping in and out. The lower sections feature a refined 3D-printed finish.

The complete package includes Standard Match and Power Kits, an extendable Twist Lock cupping kit with bait cups, a mini extension and an XTR holdall. The top kits are fitted with UK-made PTFE bushes, pre-fitted Matrix Revolve side pullers and printed depth markings. For extra stability in windy conditions, the active Matrix XTR Flat Mini Extension is a suitable addition.

Interchangeable XTR pole sections and top kits

The XTR400 is part of the shared connection platform of the XTR100, XTR200, XTR300, XTR400, XTR500, XTR600 and XTR700. According to Matrix, the corresponding pole sections and complete XTR top kits within this family are interchangeable. When replacing parts, choose the correct section number and take into account differences in carbon quality, weight and action. Mini extensions and other extension sections have their own application range; always check the exact model and length.
