Description

The Guru Hybrid Feeder In-line System combines the open bait presentation of a method feeder with the protective rim of a pellet feeder. The shaped, raised rim holds the groundbait portion together, keeping your hookbait close to the feed. You fill the feeder directly by hand: no method mould is needed.

The openings in the feeder body allow water to reach the groundbait once the feeder is on the bottom. This allows the groundbait portion to break down and feeding fish to take the bait. How firmly you compress the pellets plays an important role.

How to fill the Hybrid Feeder

First, firmly and evenly press a layer of moistened pellets into the base. Place your hookbait on this layer and cover it with a second layer of pellets. Press this top layer less firmly than the bottom layer. This places the hookbait within the groundbait portion without compressing everything into one hard mass.

A suitable inline setup

For the inline setup, Guru uses a Guru Speed Bead between the feeder and the hooklength. The bead acts as a buffer, while the quick-change swivel makes it easy to replace your hooklength. Guru recommends a short hooklength of approximately 10 cm for this setup.
