Frequently asked questions

Why is this hook well suited to Method feeder fishing?

In Method feeder fishing, fish often take the hookbait close to the groundbait spot. The shape of the Method Plus supports quick hook-ups, especially when fishing with a short hooklength and a tight line.

Can I use this hook for a hair rig?

Yes. The eye makes the hook suitable for tying a hooklength with a hair, for example for pellets or mini boilies. Match the hair length to the hookbait used.

When should I choose a barbless hook?

A barbless hook is suitable when required by the fishery or competition rules. It generally also makes unhooking quicker; however, keep constant tension on the line during the fight.

What species is this hook intended for?

The Method Plus Barbless is primarily designed for carp and other strong coarse fish in commercial fisheries. Choose the appropriate version based on the hookbait, fish size and thickness of your hooklength.
