Description
Ringers Method Micros are fine Method pellets developed to adhere well to a Method feeder after wetting. The compact pellet layer stays on the feeder during the cast and can break down in a controlled manner around the hookbait after landing. This makes them particularly suitable for accurate feeder presentations on commercial fisheries and other waters with carp, F1s and silverfish.
You determine the final binding strength during preparation. With little water, the pellets remain looser; by moistening them evenly and allowing sufficient time for the water to soak in, you create a firmer mix for more powerful or longer casts. This allows you to adjust the consistency to the Method feeder used, casting distance and water temperature.
Key features
- Fine pellets for Method and pellet feeders
- Developed for good adhesion after wetting
- Suitable for compact and accurate groundbait presentations
- Binding strength can be adjusted through the amount of water and resting time
- For carp, F1s, bream and other silverfish
- 900-gram pack
Preparation
Moisten the pellets evenly, mix them thoroughly and allow the water to soak in. Then test in a small container of water whether the loaded feeder can withstand the cast and releases as desired after landing. Only add extra water in small amounts; pellets that are too wet may stick to the feeder for too long.
If you fish regularly with this groundbait, the Ringers Method Micros 10+2 package deal is also available.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know whether the Method Micros are prepared correctly?
Press a small amount onto the feeder and test it in water. The pellets should stay in place during the cast and then release in a controlled manner. Adjust the moisture and resting time until this is right.
Why do my pellets fall off the feeder during the cast?
They have probably not absorbed enough water yet or have not been mixed for long enough. Moisten them very gradually and let the pellets rest again before continuing to fish.
Can I also use these pellets in a pellet feeder?
Yes. You can also adjust the binding strength in a pellet feeder to suit the cast and the desired release underwater.
