Note: this product is available to order with a delivery time of approximately one week.

Preston Response Competition 4m Handle

The Preston Response Competition 4m Handle is a three-section landing net handle for match fishing and fishing commercial fisheries. Its combination of balance, stiffness and targeted reinforcements makes it suitable for both carp and smaller fish species.

The handle is reinforced at the main stress points. This helps when landing hard-fighting fish, while the low weight keeps handling at longer distances comfortable. The exterior has a textured finish in strategic places for extra grip.

Also suitable for shorter lengths

The Competition version has two sections with a threaded connection. This allows you to attach the landing net to a different section when you do not need the full length. This is useful on a nearby bank or when extra reach is needed, without having to use a different handle straight away.

Extendable to 5 metres

This handle is compatible with the separately available 1 m Response extension. You can find it in the selection list on the Response Handles & Extension page. With this matching extension, you can increase the length from 4 to 5 metres.
