Description
Preston Rod Safe U
The Preston Rod Safe U is a compact, sturdy rod rest for a wide range of fishing styles. The high sides hold the rod more securely in place during a strong bite, while the open top allows you to pick it up quickly when you get a bite.
There is a deep line slot at the bottom. This allows you to retrieve or release line while the rod remains in the rest, for example to precisely adjust the tension on the feeder tip.

Frequently asked questions
What is the slot at the bottom of the rest for?
The deep slot allows the line to move freely while the rod is resting on the support. This lets you adjust line tension without first lifting the rod.
Can I quickly remove the rod from the Rod Safe U?
Yes. The sides are high enough for extra security, while the rest remains open at the top so you can strike immediately when you get a bite.
