With the Preston Measuring Sticks, you can measure your fishing distance accurately and cast to the same spot every time. This is especially useful for feeder fishing, when you want to hit a feeding spot consistently or quickly reset the same distance after a line break.

The set consists of two distance sticks and a 5-metre cord for setting the exact distance between them. Two colour-coded sliding markers allow you to record two different fishing distances with the same set.

How do you use the Preston Measuring Sticks?

Place the two sticks in the ground and use the included cord to set them 5 metres apart. Hook your rig or line behind one stick, then wind the line around both sticks. Note the number of complete wraps so you can reproduce that fishing distance exactly later.

How do you mark two different distances?

Use the two coloured markers for distances that do not end exactly on a complete wrap. This allows you to record, for example, a short and a long feeding spot with the same set, without needing separate distance sticks.
