Description
The Matrix Skirt Lid is a special inner lid for Matrix Air Flow and Air Lock bait tubs. The downward-extending edge creates an extra barrier around the opening and helps prevent lively live bait, such as maggots and pinkies, from crawling out of the tub.
Thanks to this overhanging edge, you can open and use the bait tub without the bait immediately escaping along the inner wall. This makes the lid particularly practical when feeding, sorting or temporarily soaking maggots at the waterside.
The Skirt Lid is intended as a functional addition to the Matrix Air Flow Bait Tubs and Matrix Air Lock Bait Tubs. This allows you to easily adapt the same bait tub for live bait and work more neatly during your fishing session.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a Skirt Lid and a standard lid?
The Skirt Lid has an edge that extends down the inside of the bait tub. This extra barrier makes it more difficult for live bait to crawl out along the wall.
Which bait tubs does this lid fit?
It is designed for Matrix Air Flow and Air Lock bait tubs. Before purchasing, check that you use one of these compatible Matrix tubs.
Can I use the Skirt Lid for other bait?
You can, but its main benefit is for lively live bait. For pellets, sweetcorn or other non-live bait, the standard matching bait tub lid is usually sufficient.
Compatible bait tub sizes: 0.71 l (1.25 pint) and 1.14 l (2 pint), for both Matrix Air Flow and Air Lock Bait Tubs.
