Pole Elastic Threader 2m – Elastic Threader

Matrix Pole Elastic Threader 2m – pull elastic through the top kit

The Matrix Pole Elastic Threader is an extra-long threading wire that lets you guide pole elastic through a top kit with control. The diamond-shaped eye provides enough room to attach the elastic easily, allowing you to set up even longer top sections without unnecessary fiddling.

At 2 metres long, this threader is suitable for fitting and replacing elastic in pole top kits. Its simple design makes it useful for both an initial elastic installation and routine maintenance of existing top kits.

Key features

• Threading wire for pole elastic
• Diamond-shaped eye for easy attachment
• Extra-long 2-metre version
• Helps guide elastic through top sections with control
• Suitable for fitting and replacing pole elastic
• Compactly coiled for storage in your tackle box

How to use the elastic threader

Feed the threader through the empty top section from the rod tip. Attach the elastic to the diamond-shaped eye, then gently pull the threading wire back. Check that the inside of the top kit is clean beforehand and do not force the threader if you feel resistance.

Frequently asked questions

Why does this threader have a diamond-shaped eye?

The open shape makes it easy to attach elastic without tying a complicated knot. Make sure the elastic is secured firmly enough that it does not come loose while pulling it through.

Is 2 metres enough for a complete top kit?

The threader is 2 metres long and intended for feeding elastic through individual top sections or a suitable top kit setup. For longer assembled sections, feed it through one section at a time.

Can I use the threader to replace old elastic?

Yes. First remove the old elastic, clear the inside of the top section, then use the threader to pull the new elastic through the top kit with control.
