Wowsers Hi-Bridz 5mm – Two-tone Dumbbell Wafters

Dynamite Baits Wowsers Hi-Bridz 5 mm are two-colour, critically balanced dumbbell wafters for a striking yet subtly sinking hookbait presentation. The combination of two colours visually differs from a standard wafter, while the compact 5 mm size is well suited to refined method, feeder, pole and bomb rigs on heavily pressured commercial fisheries.

The wafters contain an attractive blend of flavours and essential oils. Their critical buoyancy means the weight of a suitable hook helps the hookbait sink slowly and sit lightly on the bottom. You can mount them on a bait spike, hair rig or with a pellet band. For the latter presentation, Captura Baits Bait Bands are a practical addition.

Frequently asked questions

What does critically balanced mean for these wafters?
The hookbait has enough buoyancy to present lightly, but sinks slowly under the weight of a suitable hook. Test the complete rig beforehand, as hook size and attachment affect the balance.

How do I attach a Wowsers Hi-Bridz wafter?
Dynamite Baits recommends a bait spike, hair rig or pellet band. Choose the attachment that suits your hook, then check the sinking speed in the margin.

Why do Hi-Bridz wafters have two colours?
The two-colour dumbbell visually differs from a standard single-colour wafter. This provides a different presentation when fish on heavily pressured waters respond cautiously to familiar hookbaits.

Can I use these 5 mm wafters on a method feeder?
Yes. The compact size and balanced presentation are suitable for method and feeder fishing, as well as bomb and pole rigs.
