Spaghetti Balls Standard & XL – Artificial Bait Balls

Cresta Spaghetti Balls are buoyant artificial bait balls that allow you to lightly balance a hook. The weight of the hook turns the floating ball into a suspended or very slowly sinking presentation. This gives the hook bait a natural movement and allows fish to take it easily.

The bright colour provides a clear visual signal. You can place a ball directly on the hook, combine several balls, or use it together with natural bait such as maggots, casters or a piece of worm. Use the variant selector to choose the size and colour that suit your hook, target species and water clarity.

Key features

• Buoyant artificial hook bait
• Helps present a hook suspended or very slowly sinking
• Bright colours for extra visual contrast
• Can be used directly on the hook
• Can also be combined with maggots, casters or worms
• For various hook sizes and coarse fish species
• Reusable as long as the material remains undamaged

Use

Carefully pierce the ball onto the hook and slide it on far enough to keep the hook point fully exposed. Test the combination in the water before fishing. If it sinks too quickly, use less metal weight or adjust the artificial bait; if it floats too high, choose a heavier hook or a smaller piece.

Frequently asked questions

Why should I test the presentation beforehand?
The hook weight, size and number of balls together determine the buoyancy. A quick test immediately shows whether the hook bait suspends, sinks slowly or lies on the bottom.

Can I combine Spaghetti Balls with live bait?
Yes. A ball alongside a maggot, caster or piece of worm adds colour and buoyancy without completely replacing the natural bait presentation.

When should I choose a larger ball?
A larger ball is better suited to a heavier hook or a more conspicuous presentation for larger, actively feeding fish. Always base your choice on the desired balance, not just the size of the fish.
