Marukyu Dumbell Wafters Duo 6+8mm

Cresta Marukyu Dumbell Wafters Duo 6+8 mm are balanced dumbbell hookbaits for method fishing. Their slight buoyancy means they sink slowly under the weight of the hook, making the bait easy for fish to take. This makes them particularly effective on heavily fished waters and during colder periods.

The two-tone dumbbell shape provides extra visual attraction, while the tough-soft texture stays securely on the hair. Each pot contains wafters in 6 and 8 mm. They are suitable for use with a bait band or bayonet and intended for carp, bream, tench and F1 carp, among others.

For mounting with a bait band, you can use the Captura Baits Bait Bands 3 mm; these are suitable for 6 and 8 mm hookbaits.

Frequently asked questions

How do I check whether the wafter is properly balanced?

Always test the mounted rig in the margin. The wafter should sink slowly under the weight of the hook used. A different hook size can change the sinking speed.

When should I choose a wafter instead of a sinker?

Choose a wafter when you want a lighter, balanced presentation that is easy for fish to take. A sinker is more suitable when the hookbait needs to remain fully on the bottom under its own weight.

Can I attach these wafters with a bait band?

Yes. The texture and dumbbell shape are suitable for a bait band. Attachment with a bayonet is also possible.
