Frequently asked questions
Can I use this line as hooklength material?
Yes. The combination of breaking strain and abrasion resistance makes the Super Elite T1 Carp suitable for tying strong hooklengths for carp and other powerful coarse fish.
Is this nylon line also suitable as a main line?
Yes, especially for pole rigs. Always match the line diameter to the size of the fish, the elastic used and the conditions at the water's edge.
How can I prevent weakening when tying knots?
Moisten a nylon knot before tightening it gently. This reduces friction heat and helps keep the line more intact around the knot.
