Diamond Eye Elastic Threader Extra Long 2.1m

Preston Diamond Eye Elastic Threader Extra Long 2.1m – easily thread elastic through long top kits

The Preston Diamond Eye Elastic Threader is an extra-long elastic threader for threading pole elastic through top sections. At 2.1 metres long, it is specifically designed for longer top-two sections, where a shorter threading needle may not provide sufficient reach.

The diamond-shaped eye grips the elastic securely while threading it through. This allows you to pull the elastic through the top kit in a controlled manner, without complicated knots or improvised tools.

Key features

• Elastic threader for fitting pole elastic
• Extra-long 2.1-metre version
• Suitable for long top-two sections
• Diamond-shaped eye grips the elastic securely
• Helps thread elastic through the top kit quickly and with control

How to use the elastic threader

Feed the threader through the empty, clean top kit until the diamond-shaped eye is accessible at the other end. Place the end of the elastic in the eye and gently pull the threader back through the rod sections. Do not force it if the threader catches anywhere, and always check that the chosen bush and elastic can move freely through the top kit.

Frequently asked questions

Why does this elastic threader have a diamond-shaped eye?

The shape is designed to grip the elastic while threading it through. This keeps the end in place more securely while you pull the threader back through the top kit.

What is the 2.1-metre length intended for?

The extra length makes this version suitable for longer top-two sections. This means you do not need to take the top kit apart as far to thread the elastic through.

Can I fit both hollow and solid elastic with this?

The threader is designed to feed pole elastic through a top kit. Before use, check that the diameter of the chosen elastic fits properly in the eye, and always pull without excessive force.
