XS02-B Mag Store Hooklength 6” – 15 cm Barbless Ready-Tied Hooklengths

The Preston XS02-B Mag Store Hooklengths are ready-made, barbless 15 cm hooklengths for fishing with larger hook baits for hard-fighting fish. The robust XS02-B hook is tied to Preston Reflo Power nylon, providing extra confidence when targeting carp, F1s or other powerful fish.

This hook pattern has been developed for bulkier baits such as worms, sweetcorn, meat, pellets and paste. The short hooklength provides direct presentation and makes these rigs particularly practical for method and pellet feeder setups. Each hooklength is precisely tied and supplied on a Mag Store Rig Stick, allowing you to store them neatly and change them quickly.

Frequently asked questions

What type of fishing are these hooklengths intended for?

They are designed for situations where you are fishing for hard-fighting fish with larger baits. The 15 cm length is well suited to compact method and pellet feeder setups, but can also be used in other rigs when a short, direct hooklength is required.

Which baits are suitable for the XS02-B hook?

The strong hook pattern is suitable for worms, sweetcorn, meat, pellets and paste. Match the bait size to the chosen hook and ensure the hook point remains clear for effective hooking.

What is the benefit of Reflo Power nylon?

Reflo Power combines neat bait presentation with the strength needed for firm bites and powerful fights. However, check the line regularly for damage.

What does the Mag Store Rig Stick do?

The Rig Stick keeps the pre-tied hooklengths neatly at the correct length and prevents them from becoming tangled. It can be placed directly into a compatible Preston Mag Store system.
