Wire Bait Up Feeders

The Preston Wire Bait Up Feeders are spacious mesh feeders for quickly and accurately building up a feeding spot. They are designed to deliver a larger quantity of groundbait, particles and other loose bait to your swim in a short time at the start of a session or when topping up.

A mesh lid closes the top of the feeder. This keeps the contents securely inside during casting and on impact with the water. Once on the bottom, water can easily pass through the open mesh, releasing the groundbait and bait.

The feeder is made from very strong stainless steel mesh, allowing it to withstand the repeated strain of casting heavy loads of bait. This lets you build up your feeding spot efficiently without having to fill a small feeder every time.

Key features

• Spacious bait-up feeder for quick, targeted feeding
• Suitable for groundbait, particles and other loose bait types
• Mesh lid keeps the contents inside the feeder during casting
• Open structure allows water to enter easily
• Very strong and durable stainless steel mesh
• Developed for repeated casting with larger bait loads

When should you use a bait-up feeder?

Use it to quickly create a compact feeding spot before fishing or to accurately add a larger amount of groundbait during your session. You can then switch to a smaller feeder for the actual fishing.

Why does this feeder have a mesh lid?

The lid prevents loose particles and groundbait from escaping through the top during casting. At the same time, the feeder remains open enough to let water in on the bottom and release its contents.
