Preston UV Protective Cap UPF-50
The Preston UV Protective Cap UPF-50 is a lightweight fishing cap for sunny and warm days. The fabric has a UPF 50 rating and helps protect the part of your head covered by the cap against UV radiation. The peak also provides shade for your face and helps keep irritating sunlight out of your eyes.
The light blue fabric absorbs less solar heat than a dark colour, improving comfort during long summer sessions. The Velcro fastening at the back makes it easy to adjust the fit. The cap comes in one adjustable size and is made from 100% polyester.

Frequently asked questions
What does UPF 50 mean for this cap?
UPF 50 indicates that the fabric offers a high level of protection against UV radiation. This protection only applies to the skin actually covered by the cap.
Does this cap protect my entire face and neck?
No. The peak provides shade for part of the face, but the ears, neck and other uncovered skin still require additional sun protection.
Why is the cap light blue?
A light colour generally absorbs less solar heat than dark fabric. This helps keep the cap comfortable on warm days.
How do I adjust the fit?
Use the Velcro fastening at the back to adjust the circumference to your head. This allows you to wear the cap securely and comfortably.
