Supera X Distance Feeder – Distance Feeder Rod 🎁

Note: made-to-order variants have a delivery time of approximately one week.

The Preston Supera X Distance Feeder is designed for accurate feeder casting at long range. Its powerful yet progressive action gives the blank enough speed to cast a loaded feeder basket, while the rod continues to absorb shocks during the fight. This makes the range suitable for large lakes, open natural waters and river conditions where distance and control are equally important.

The X Wrap construction supports blank stability during casting. Extra-large American Tackle distance guides promote smooth line flow, even when a leader knot needs to pass through the guides. The Fuji reel seat holds the reel securely in place, while the flat EVA and cork handle provides a stable grip. Each rod is supplied with three 3.5 mm carbon quivertips, allowing sensitivity and casting load to be matched to the conditions.

Separate Preston Supera X Distance 3.5 mm quivertips are available as replacements or additions. For compact, protected transport, you can combine the rod sections with the Preston Supera X Tip and Butt Protector.

Frequently asked questions

Why does this distance rod have a progressive action?

The powerful sections of the blank build up speed for casting, while the progressive bend absorbs a fish's sudden runs. This gives the rod casting power combined with control during the fight.

What is the advantage of the extra-large guides?

The larger American Tackle guides give the line and any leader knot more room to pass through the rod guides during casting. This reduces resistance when casting at distance.

Which quivertips are supplied with the rod?

Each rod is supplied with three 3.5 mm carbon tips: 2 oz, 3 oz and 4 oz. This allows you to adjust bite detection and stability to the feeder weight, wind and current.
