Softshell Jacket

The Preston Softshell Jacket is a lined softshell jacket for cool days by the water and everyday use. The splash-resistant outer material offers protection from light showers, while the warm inner lining provides extra comfort. The comfortable fit allows plenty of freedom of movement while fishing. Thanks to the subtle brand details, you can also wear the black and grey jacket away from your fishing sessions.

In autumn, use the jacket as an outer layer. During colder periods, it is also suitable as an extra insulating layer under a roomier outer jacket. Is this softshell jacket fully waterproof?

Preston describes the material as splash-resistant and does not state a waterproof rating for this jacket. Therefore, do not treat it as a replacement for waterproof clothing in prolonged rain. For persistently wet weather, choose the Preston DF Ultra 25K Jacket as a waterproof outer layer.
