Monster XS Carp Pellet Waggler 11ft – Pellet Waggler Rod

The Preston Monster XS Carp Pellet Waggler 11ft is a two-piece float rod for carp fishing on commercial fisheries. The slim carbon blank combines a direct response when casting with a progressive bend during the fight. The rod has been developed for pellet waggler fishing and other shallow float presentations.

Float control and a progressive playing action

When pellet waggler fishing, you want to be able to cast your float accurately and maintain good control. The responsive action of this rod supports that presentation. As soon as you are playing a fish, the blank bends progressively further. Under load, it bends down into the handle section. This progressive playing action helps absorb sudden lunges from the fish, while the blank retains sufficient reserve power for larger carp.

Bank-side finish

• Lightweight Seaguide guides in Minima style.
• Flattened handle.
• Screw-down reel seat to secure the reel.
• Integrated hook keeper for temporarily parking the hook.
