Description
Preston Mini Butt Rest
The Preston Mini Butt Rest is a compact rear rod rest for rods with a cork or EVA handle. The super-soft rubber compound gives the handle section a light grip without creating a hard contact point.
This grip keeps the rear of the rod better in place when you position it at an angle or sideways. The rest is compact, making it particularly suitable for a tidy setup where space is limited. For example, mount it on the Preston Ripple Bar Double to support the rear handle section next to your seatbox.

Is the Mini Butt Rest suitable for a cork handle?
Yes. The rest is designed for both cork and EVA handles. The soft rubber supports the material without placing a hard edge against the handle section.
Does this rest hold the rod fully clamped in place?
No. The Mini Butt Rest provides a light grip on the handle section to prevent slipping, but the rod remains easy to pick up when you get a bite or want to cast again.
