KKH Eyed Barbed

The Preston KKH Eyed Barbed is a strong eyed hook with a micro barb, designed for targeting large, powerful fish. Developed for hair rigs, it combines an out-turned eye with a curved hook point, allowing the hook to turn quickly and hold securely when taken by the fish.

The durable PTFE coating reduces underwater glare and helps retain the hook's sharpness. Thanks to its robust construction, the KKH is suitable for both feeder and waggler techniques with a variety of baits. Anglers who want to fish straight away with a ready-made rig can choose the Preston KKH Bayonet Hair Rigs, which are tied using this hook pattern.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the KKH hook have an out-turned eye?

The out-turned eye helps the hook turn at a favourable angle on a hair rig when the fish takes the bait. This supports quick and secure hooking.

What bait is this hook suitable for?

The KKH Eyed Barbed can be used with pellets, sweetcorn, meat and boilies, among other baits. Match your chosen bait presentation and hook size to the target fish and conditions.

When should I choose a barbed hook?

A micro barb helps keep the hook in place during the fight. Always check local fishing regulations, as some waters permit barbless hooks only.
