The Matrix X7 Carp Method Barbless Eyed is a barbless eyed hook developed for Method fishing for carp. The wide, round hook bend provides space around the hook bait and supports reliable hook holds when fishing with a hair rig.

This PTFE-coated hook is suitable for pellets, sweetcorn and boilies on the hair. Its shape is designed to convert more bites and reduce hook pulls during the fight, making the X7 a focused choice for commercial carp fishing with the Method feeder.

Frequently asked questions

What do I use the Matrix X7 Carp Method for?
The X7 is specifically designed for fishing for carp with the Method feeder. The combination of a wide hook bend and barbless design is ideal for commercial waters where fast, reliable hook holds are important.

What hook bait can I present on the hair?
You can use the X7 with pellets, sweetcorn and boilies. The bait is placed on the hair, leaving the hook free to take hold effectively when the bait is taken.

Why does this hook have an eye instead of a spade end?
The eye makes the hook suitable for tied hair rigs and other Method rigs. This allows you to create a hooklength where the hook bait is presented separately from the hook.
