The Matrix In-Line Leads are free-running inline lead weights for a safe and streamlined feeder or Method setup. Thanks to the forward-positioned weight, they fly steadily through the air, allowing accurate and repeatable casting even at distance.

The Quick Change system allows you to replace the lead quickly without retying the entire setup. The supplied Quick Change Bead provides a neat transition to the hooklength and enables fast changes. The free-running design also helps comply with the rules of many commercial fisheries.

Part of the Matrix feeder system

Within the same system, you can interchange these inline lead weights with the active Matrix Method Feeders and Matrix Open Alloy Feeders. If you want an elastic connection between the feeder and hooklength, the Matrix Elasticated Stems also fit this setup.

Which version should you choose?

Use the product selector to choose the lead weight that suits your casting distance, water depth and conditions. Use enough weight to cast accurately to the same baited spot, but avoid unnecessarily heavy leads when a lighter setup remains stable on the bottom.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to retie the whole setup to change the weight?

Is this lead suitable for a free-running setup?

Can I combine this lead with Matrix Method Feeders?
Yes. It is part of the interchangeable Matrix system and is compatible with the mentioned Method Feeders, Open Alloy Feeders and separately available Elasticated Stems.
