Frequently asked questions
What do you use this Matrix waggler rod for?
The Ethos XR-W is specifically designed for pellet waggler fishing on commercial fisheries. The combination of casting control and a parabolic fish-playing action makes it suitable for both F1s and larger carp.
What is the advantage of the parabolic action?
The blank gradually absorbs the power of a running fish. This maintains constant pressure on the line during the fight and reduces the chance of hook pulls, especially when using smaller hooks and finer hooklengths.
Is the rod practical to transport?
Yes. The two-piece rod is stored in two equal-length sections and has a transport length of 171 cm. A premium rod bag is included.
