Compression Punch Set – Hook Bait Punch Set (3 pcs)

With the Matrix Compression Punch Set, you can quickly create even pieces of hook bait from soft baits such as bread and luncheon meat. The three included diameters give you the freedom to match the size to the hook, fishing situation and desired bait volume.

Each punch features a sharp brass cutting tube for a clean cut. The rubber handle provides a secure grip, while the built-in plunger pushes the punched bait out of the tube in a controlled manner. This allows you to work efficiently and keep your presentation consistent cast after cast.

Frequently asked questions

Which punch size should I choose?

Choose the diameter based on the size of your hook and the desired presentation. The 6 mm size creates a subtle bait piece, while 8 and 10 mm stand out more and are suitable for a larger bait volume.

How can I prevent bread from getting stuck in the punch?

Press the punch straight through the bread with a twisting motion. Then use the plunger to gently push the bait out of the brass tube without damaging its shape.

Can I also use the punches for hard bait?

The set is designed for soft baits, especially bread and luncheon meat. Very hard or frozen bait can put strain on the cutting edge and will generally not produce a clean cut.
