Feeder Gold 1kg

Van Den Eynde Feeder Gold is a rich, coarse groundbait mix originally developed for Southern European waters. Its high proportion of ground seeds gives the groundbait structure and makes it particularly suitable for deep water, long casts and incorporating chopped worms.

Although Feeder Gold is not a classic fine feeder mix, it can be used very effectively in a feeder basket when moistened carefully. Ideally prepare the groundbait the evening before, or moisten it in at least three stages so that all ingredients absorb sufficient water. The mix can be used all year round, either on its own or as part of a recipe.

Frequently asked questions

Why should Feeder Gold be moistened in several stages?

The coarse, rich ingredients gradually absorb moisture. By moistening the groundbait in at least three stages and allowing it to rest between stages, you get a more even mix that stays well in the feeder basket during casting.

Can I prepare Feeder Gold the evening before?

Yes. The manufacturer even recommends this as an alternative to moistening in three stages. Check the texture again at the water's edge and add a small amount of water if necessary.

When should I use chopped worms in this mix?

Chopped worms are particularly useful when you want to hold larger bream or other large coarse fish in deep water. Add them just before feeding, so you can easily adjust the amount of live bait.
